1: LEATHER PRODUCTS DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE (LPDI).

The LPDI is established with the aim and state of art to produce skilled manpower for Leather Industry – hence, has developed a comprehensive training criteria. The Institute is equipped with updated methods of technology for Pattern Designing, Stitching etc. So for around 500 students have been qualified from this institute and are employed in Sialkot based leather industry for Gloves / Garments.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

2: CLEANER PRODUCTION CENTRE (CPC). 

The CPC – Project is established with the objective to control indiscriminate discharge of potentially harmful solid waste and heavily polluted wastes and to improve working condition in the tanneries with the introduction of Cleaner Production techniques. This is the first of its kind project in Pakistan.

The CPC project was financed by Royal Norwegian Government.

The CPC also manages the training programmes of “International Standards on Quality Control”, Social Compliances, and Occupational Safety and Health giving a beneficial approach to the industry representatives for evolving their effective progress.

Under the supervision of CPC two Internationally Accredited Laboratories, Analytical Lab and Physical Lab. are also functioning where required International Standard Tests are exercised meeting the International Standards.

In conclusion although the global market is presently much saturated with Sector Products and a tough competition exists – But PGMEA maintain the assurance that Sialkot based manufacturers / exporters eagerly exercise the best quality focused vision with best craftsmanship for a stronger and longer business relation with committed customers irrespective of price competition.
